Young at Heart at First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Ky is a senior adult ministry. This ministry serves seniors throughout the community. Our goal is to enhance the life of this group with worship, discipleship, ministry, missions, and fellowship. We have a weekly luncheon every Tuesday (The Lunch Bunch) at the church where we bring our lunches and fellowship with one another! Often, we will have an activity or entertainment as well. Throughout the year YAH takes day trips to interesting places across the state, and twice a month our group serves and ministers at the Christian Appalachian Project.
