At First Baptist Church, corporate worship is an integral part of the church experience. During this time, it is important that we worship our Savior in an engaging way. This also includes our children! During the 10:45am service, parents can utilize our Children's Church to help teach their child (ages K-3) how to worship God with others. The children's worship service consists of the same core elements as the "big church" worship service- worship through praise, prayer, giving and Bible teaching. This prepares the child for corporate worship whenever the parent feels they are of age, or after the completion of the the third grade (whichever comes first).
The "sermon" for Children's Church comes in the form of a DVD from "The Animated Stories from the Bible" series by Nest Family Learning. There is a workbook that goes along with each story to help review and reiterate the biblical truths demonstrated each week. The order of worship for Children's Church can be found below.

10:45-11:00 Snack

11:00-11:10 Game in Fellowship Hall (anything that includes letting out some energy)

"Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."
Deuteronomy 11:18-19 (NIV)
